盐酸酸洗溶液在高温条件下，对钢板表面(氧化膜)除锈同时，对钢板材质本身也具有一定的腐蚀性。如果酸洗作业正常的话，对钢板的腐蚀并不严重，如酸洗作业速度较慢或流水线出现停顿时，对钢板的腐蚀就明显。使用FC-SY50腐蚀抑制剂后对钢板几乎不产生腐蚀性。因此，当酸洗速度迟缓或出现酸洗作业停顿时,能有效抑制对钢板的腐蚀，使钢板的合格率得到大幅提升。
